Sharing an Experience
My friend Ethan won two tickets to a music festival. He asked me to go with him, and I agreed immediately. The lineup included several bands we had always wanted to see, so it felt like an opportunity 27 good to miss.
The festival was held in a large park on the edge of the city. We arrived early, found a good spot near the stage, and waited for the first band to start. The weather was warm, and the atmosphere was friendly. Ethan and I have known 28 other since primary school, so we are comfortable just standing together without feeling the need to talk constantly.
We did not expect to meet 29 many people. By the end of the afternoon, we had talked to a group of students from Scotland, a couple who had travelled from Wales, and a woman who said she had been coming to this festival every year since it began. Everyone seemed happy to share stories and recommend bands to check out.
The highlight of the day came just before sunset. One of the acts brought 30 the stage a guest performer who had not been announced. The crowd went silent for a moment, and then everyone began cheering. It was one of those rare moments 31 something unexpected makes an experience truly unforgettable.
We left the park tired but full of energy at the same time. Ethan said it was the best decision he had made all year. I agreed. Sometimes the things you do without much planning turn out to be the
32 you remember the longest.
