Alicia Rhett – the star who only appeared in one film

Alicia Rhett was an actress who rose to international 0 stardom in the 1939 film Gone With the Wind. In the film, which enjoyed 17 success and is among the most popular ever made, she played the part of India Wilkes, the serious young woman whose love for the dull and timid 18 character, Charles Hamilton, is spurned in favour of Scarlett O’Hara. Despite the film’s 19 acclaim, however, it was to be her only screen role.
